Description
The gazebo and summerhouse in the Venetian Garden at Kinmel, which is listed as Grade II, is constructed of brick with sandstone dressings, matching the main house. It features a wide flight of steps with a brick balustrade that is capped with stone, leading up in two flights at right angles to a viewing platform. This platform is supported by an arched substructure that forms the summerhouse. The structure includes round arches with moulded extrados and key on two sides, along with a square window that has an eared and shouldered architrave. Inside, three shallow brick barrel vaults are supported on iron joists.
