Description

The gates and gate piers at the eastern end of the Broad Walk are made of limestone. The piers feature channel rustication with inset corners, rising to a half-round necking moulding and a wide moulded cornice. Each pier is topped with a stilted ball finial set over a step. The gates themselves are plain iron with dog rails.
