Description
The gate piers and gates opposite West Amesbury House date from the late 17th century or 18th century. They are made of limestone and feature rusticated piers that stand approximately 2.4 meters high, adorned with necking moulding and a cornice. Each pier supports a block that carries stalked ball finials. The iron gates are designed with a decorative central panel and dog rails.
