Description
The stables to West Amesbury House are a late 17th to early 18th century building. They feature Flemish bond brickwork and a tiled roof. Originally six bays, the structure was shortened to five bays in the 20th century, with a link over the carriageway connecting it to the Manor House. The stables have five two-light stone-mullioned windows, which include inset chamfers and leaded glazing. Inside, there are three open stalls, two loose boxes, and a two-bay carriage house at the south end, along with a feed loft above. The stable fittings are likely from the late 18th century. At the south end, the building is connected to a garden wall.
