Description
The Garden Bridge at Kinmel, along with its attached sunken service road walls and abutments, is a Grade II listed structure. The bridge features a segmental arch that springs from rusticated vertical abutments, which are part of a deeply cut curved service access road lined with stone. This road leads from the main front drive to the east face of the service wing of Kinmel. The bridge has a 1-meter high balustrade made of limestone, consisting of three sandstone panels set between stone stanchions, topped with a broad handrail. Each panel has a pierced center. The underside of the bridge is constructed of brick and is faced with a single ring of voussoirs.
