Description
Waun-y-fedwen is a Grade II listed building featuring a symmetrical front elevation with two storeys on the left side, which has two windows and a central door. The structure is built from local irregularly squared limestone, with brick dressings around the doorway and windows that are block-bonded to the general masonry. It has segmental brick heads, a slate roof with a tile ridge, and brick end-chimneys. The roof verge extends generously outside the chimneys. The front door is modern, made of boarded wood with semi-glazed sections, and the windows are four-pane sash with exposed frames.
The right part of the building is at a lower ground level and consists of 1½ storeys with a much lower roof that runs in tandem with the left side. This section is constructed from cream painted rubble masonry, also featuring a slate roof with a tile ridge. There is a boarded door with two glass panes located left of centre, along with a small window above and two small windows below, although all the frames in this section have been replaced.
