4 & 6 Gloddaeth Street

Nos 2, 4, and 6 Gloddaeth Street in Llandudno are a group of commercial premises dating from the early 20th century. The buildings are two and three storeys tall, constructed of yellow stone with slate roofs featuring dormers. They have sash glazing and a toothed cornice. At the second floor, the sashes are set behind 2-light openings that are separated by freestanding columns, with a ropemoulding serving as a string course. The first floor features broad Gothic arched windows with rock-faced masonry above, positioned between piers that have floral capitals and bracketed sills.

No 4 is three storeys high, with four windows on the first floor and two dormers with hipped slate roofs. No 6 is two storeys tall, with ten first floor windows, two box dormers, and one large box dormer. A verandah and shopfront extend across the full width of Nos 4 and 6. The verandah is supported by elaborate shaped columns with gables in front of the shop doorways. The early 20th-century shopfront has Art Deco detailing; No 4 features a doorway set back between angled display windows, while No 6 has two doorways that are deeply set back in lobbies formed by convex windows on each side.
