Description

Moss Chemists is a three-storey shop with a restaurant above, built from yellow stone and featuring slate roofs, including a large strip dormer facing Mostyn Street. The building has sash glazing and a toothed cornice. At the second floor, the sashes are set behind 2-light openings that are separated by freestanding columns, with a ropemoulding string course. The first floor showcases broad Gothic arched windows with rock-faced masonry above, set back between piers that have floral capitals and bracketed sills. Number 96 features three windows in a convex corner bay on the first floor, with two windows to the left facing Gloddaeth Street and three to the right facing Mostyn Street. Number 98 has a four-window front in the same style. The shopfronts have been modernized.
