2 Glan-y-Pwll

2 Glan-y-Pwll is an early 19th-century terrace located along the old main road through Penmachno. Originally consisting of four houses, it has been extended to the east to create a fifth house, and also to the west, where two additional houses now lie in ruins and are no longer of special interest.

The terrace is constructed from local brown-grey rubble and features slate roofs. It has substantial stone chimneys that are rectangular in shape, although the smaller house at the eastern end has a square chimney. Each house includes a square-headed doorway with a single small pane window, typically a 16-pane design, to the left, all situated under a continuous stone sill. The first floors have a single square window, generally 9-pane sashes, positioned above the ground floor window and aligned with the eaves. The windows are equipped with stone sills and typically feature hornless sash glazing. The house at the eastern end has a polygonal gable end where it meets the main road. To the left of the eastern house, there is a small attached shed with a front wall made of large upright slate slabs.

At the time of inspection in January 1992, the building was noted to be in poor condition.
