Description
Crown Terrace is an early 19th-century terrace of two-storey houses. It is constructed from local rubble masonry, with Nos 2 and 3 rendered. The terrace features a modern slate roof, which includes rendered rectangular axial and gable stacks with capping. The houses have recessed sash windows with slate sills, and the first-floor windows are positioned directly under the eaves.
The terrace has a four-window range, which is symmetrical with a three-window arrangement and a central door located between the stacks, along with an additional bay to the left that has a ground-floor doorway and a window above. The windows are 16-pane hornless sashes, with the ground-floor windows having shallow cambered heads. The entrances consist of half-glazed doors with margin panes and shallow rectangular fanlights. The right (south) gable is pebbledashed and features a ground-floor bay window with three lights, also topped with a slate roof. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
