Description
2 Church View is part of a terrace of three two-window houses built in the late 1850s, around the same time as the rebuilding of the Parish Church. The front of the houses features roughly coursed rubble, while the sides and rear are also made of rubble. They have a slate roof with four tall rectangular stone chimneys that include water tabling. The roof overhangs at the gable ends and has plain bargeboards. The houses are slightly offset to the right within the block. Each house has two small square casement windows, with a doorway to the right and a vertically proportioned two-light casement window. The ground floor windows and doorways are set under deep stone lintels, and the doors are simply boarded. At the rear, the roof slopes down to the ground floor.
