Description

Llwyn comprises three cottages, originally two separate dwellings. Cottages 1 and 2 were initially constructed of uncoursed rubble with an old slate roof, though much of the original roof covering to Cottage 1 is now missing, along with the gable chimney stack. A later house, Cottage 3, was added to the uphill gable, built of roughly coursed rubble and featuring a 20th-century slate roof with flush verges and a tall stack within its lower gable.

Cottage 1 displays remnants of its original central doorway and two flanking windows, but these are in a state of disrepair. Cottage 2 retains a central boarded entrance door with an inset lozenge window. Four-pane windows, one sash and one casement, are located just below the eaves on either side. Cottage 3 mirrors this layout with a modern stable-type boarded door in the centre and one 19th-century four-pane horned sash window on each side.
