Description
Bryn Meirion is the right-hand cottage of a pair, built from roughly coursed rubble with large rubble quoins and a slate roof. It has one storey and an attic, with each cottage consisting of a single bay that contains a front and back room. Access is from the side through a timber door with glazed panels. The windows feature cast iron lozenge pattern glazing, with a three-light window in the main front living room, a two-light window above within a gable, and a similar window on the upper floor of the end gable. On the ground floor of the gable, there is a mullioned and transomed window with iron Gothic pattern glazing that includes small cusps. All windows have sawn slate lintels. A large yellow-brick stack with six shafts is located on the party wall, and there is a later pebble-dashed extension at the rear.
