Description
Pen y Bryn is a small single-storey cottage dating from the 18th century, featuring three units and a lobby entrance. It is built from white-washed rubble stone and has a slate roof, with a stone stack located on the right side. The front includes a boarded door with a small light to the right of the stack, and there are small two-light wooden casement windows in the center and to the left, extending up to the eaves.
There are small added units at each end of the cottage; the unit on the left is set back but maintains the same roof line and has a casement window. The unit on the right has a slightly lower ridge height, is rendered, and features a casement window to the left and a doorway to the right. The rear of the building was not visible during the inspection, and there was no access to the interior at that time.
