Description
The War Memorial is a Celtic cross made of rough unpolished stone, set on a tapering square base that rests on a two-tier plinth. The cross features interlace decoration in low relief, with the left and right arms inscribed with the years 1914 and 1919, respectively. On the front of the stem, there is a polished panel that commemorates two men who died in World War II (1919-45), along with an inscription below that honors those who died in World War I (1914-18). The polished face of the base lists the names and addresses of the individuals commemorated.
