Description
The Pontfadog War Memorial is a Celtic cross made of unpolished granite, featuring an inverted sword on the front. It stands on a splayed four-sided base, which is polished and displays the names of those who fought in World War I. On the front of the plinth, the years "1939-45" are inscribed along with a list of those who died in World War II. The plinth is set on a concrete base and is surrounded by a square enclosure of simple iron railings, which includes a gate on the north side.
