Description

This is a square-section milestone with an arched top, which has been later built into a rubble stone wall. Attached to the front is a cast iron plate that features an arched head, a raised margin, and letters in relief. The plate reads "Wrexham District / 1894 / DCC" under the arch. Below this, the distances are indicated in miles and furlongs: Wrexham 15.2, Chirk 5, Glyn 1.3, and Llanarmon DC 6.1.
