Description
Talygarth Isaf Farm is a 2-storey building with a 3-window original front, where the openings are slightly offset to the left. It is constructed of random stone with quoins and features a slate roof with prominent eaves. There are brick end stacks, one of which on the left is partly truncated. The central entrance has a panelled door beneath a small gabled porch canopy, and a large wedge lintel above indicates that there was originally an overlight instead of the porch. The windows are 6-over-6-pane hornless sashes, which are in poor condition and sit under large wedge lintels. The window above the doorway has lost its glazing bars.
The original rear elevation, which is now the front, has a 2-window configuration with openings slightly offset to the right. It also features a central panelled door under a gabled porch canopy, and small 2-light wooden casement windows with flat heads, each consisting of 4 panes.
Inside, there is a central stair-hall with a through-passage, stairs leading to the west, and doorways leading off to both sides. The main reception room is located to the east.
