Description

The grave monument to Reverend Robert Ellis, located in Cynddelw, is a simple obelisk made of unpolished stone. It stands on a square base that features a moulded capstone, which is set on a two-tier plinth with mouldings along the upper edges. On the south side of the base, the inscription reads "Bedd / Cynddelw / 1812 - 1875." The obelisk is surrounded by a small square enclosure made of low iron railings that have arched tops.
