Description
This is a square-section milestone with an arched top located at Pontfadog. It features a cast iron plate attached to the front, which has an arched head, a raised margin, and letters in relief. The plate reads "Wrexham District / 1894 / DCC" under the arch. Below this, the milestone indicates distances in miles and furlongs: Wrexham 14.2, Chirk 4, Glyn 2.3, and Llanarmon DC 7.1.
