Former Waiting Room, Glyn Valley Tramway, Pontfadog

The former waiting room of the Glyn Valley Tramway in Pontfadog is a small single-storey building made of red brick, with the front white-washed and the sides roughcast. It has a slate roof with tile cresting and a brick stack on the left side, along with a moulded brick plinth. The front of the building faces east and features a panelled door on the right and a 6-over-6-pane horned sash window on the left, both with wedge lintels. Above the doorway is a sign that reads "Pontfadog." The window has a moulded sill and an outward-opening wooden shutter, which reveals another sign stating "Glyn Valley Tramway, Open Now, Passenger Waiting Room."

Inside, the single room retains its original features, including wooden side benches, a quarry tile floor, and a small stone fireplace with a decorative cast iron surround and a hearth made of small tiles.
