Description

This is a monument to Parch Hugh Owen, constructed of rock-faced ashlar stone and pink granite. It features two stone steps that are square in shape, leading up to a die made of four courses. The front of the die displays a polished granite inscription honoring Hugh Owen, describing him as 'one of the first ministers of the Independents of North Wales,' followed by a lengthy quotation. The die has a chamfered top and supports a polished granite obelisk that stands on a moulded base.
