Description
Capel Bethel is a chapel built of stone and pebbledashed, featuring end channelled pilasters and a slate roof. The facade is tripartite, with a central entrance that includes a round-headed doorway adorned with a moulded architrave supported by consoles leading up to a keystone. On either side of the entrance are large round-headed windows, each with similar architraved heads and bracketed sills. Above a string course at the base of the gable, there is a small keyed roundel that displays the name and date of the building.
The narrow front forecourt is railed, consisting of round cast iron stanchions with pointed terminals and intermediate rails featuring alternating cross javelin heads. These railings extend in front of the vestries and continue as far as the railings of Capel Ebenezer.
The chapel was not accessible at the time of inspection.
