Description

Gelert's Grave is a memorial site featuring a group of three stones set within an oval enclosure that has modern railings. At the center lies a natural limestone boulder, approximately 1 meter wide. In front of this boulder are two modern incised slate tablets that tell the story of Gelert in both Welsh and English. On either side of the boulder stand two irregular, vertical limestone rocks, which show signs of horizontal water erosion and some likely additional tooling.
