Description

The memorial to Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Prince of Wales, is a tall prehistoric-style menhir situated on a stepped concrete base atop a grassy mound. It is enclosed by a railing, and there are stone steps leading to the entrance. On either side of the entrance, there are polished stones engraved with inscriptions in both English and Welsh that read: 'Near this spot was killed our Prince Llywelyn'.
