Description
The structure consists of red sandstone walls with slate plaques that enclose a large square green. The walls are approximately 1 meter high and have openings on three sides. On the fourth side stands the War Memorial, which features a quadrant wall and pleached lime trees. The cross is positioned on three steps and has a tall shaft made from field-found stone topped with a light iron cross. Memorial tablets are attached to the quadrant wall, including three slate plaques—one displaying an inscription in both Welsh and English, and two listing the names of those who fell in World War I. A separate bronze tablet commemorates those lost in World War II.
