Description

Pont Conwy, also known as Bont Newydd, is a road bridge constructed in flat rubble masonry. It features a single semi-circular arch with voussoirs that are set back. The levelling course extends around tall tapering buttresses that have flat capstones. The carriageway is approximately 5 meters wide, and the parapet stands about 1 meter high, topped with flat coping stones.
