Description

Pont Wrysgen is a bridge constructed from coursed squared rubble. It features a large semi-circular arch made of flush even shale voussoirs that springs from native rock and rises to a keystone. The bridge has flush spandrels, a projecting string course, and a parapet with flat coping stones. The abutments are slightly battered and terminate in demi-piers. The arch spans approximately 10.7 meters and rises 6.2 meters above the river, supporting a carriageway that is 5.5 meters wide with parapets that are 53 centimeters high.
