Description
Pont Nant-y-dugoed is a bridge built of coursed squared rubble. It features a single large semi-circular arch made of flush even shale voussoirs that springs from native rock and rises to a keystone. The bridge has flush spandrels, a projecting string course, and a parapet with flat coping stones. The abutments are slightly battered, and the parapet turns outwards at the ends, ending in demi-piers. The arch spans approximately 7.8 meters and rises about 6.9 meters above the river. It carries a carriageway that is 5.4 meters wide, with parapets that are 50 centimeters high.
