Description
Gorphwysfa is a two-storey building dating from an unspecified period. It is located on boulder foundations and constructed of stone that has been whitewashed. The roof is made of old slate with blue ridge tiles. The building has three bays, featuring a modern part-glazed replacement door in the center bay and two uPVC replacement windows that mimic the original four-pane windows. There is a stack at the eastern gable end, along with two small roof lights. A large modern window is present in the gable end, which has a large whitewashed timber lintel, and there is a small window in the attic. At the rear, there is a lateral chimney.
Inside, the building has been modernized but still retains part of the timber-framed partition that separates the cottages and a section at the rear.
