Description
Farthingale House is a two-storey Cotswold cottage, dating from around 1700 or earlier, that has been significantly modernised. It features coursed rubble construction and a stone slate roof with raised verges. There is a chimney on the west side and a saddlestone on the east. The front has two windows of the two-light mullioned type, each with slate drips, and a central half-glazed door. At the rear, there are two gables for chimneys and tabling below the eaves. The gable end windows are partly original, and the interior has been altered.
