Description

Bazzoni Cottage, Captains Cabin, and Fourways are a group of picturesque and irregular cottages located on Rectory Lane in Greenmore. They date from the 18th century and were altered in the 19th century. The cottages are two and two-and-a-half storeys tall, constructed of coursed rubble with concrete tile roofs. They feature casement windows, and the Captain's Cabin has stone mullion windows on both the north and south sides. It is likely that these cottages incorporate much earlier fabric, possibly even medieval, as they sit on the site of the original settlement of Bourton, situated between the church and the camp.
