Description

Wharf Cottage is a 2-storey building, with the upper storey primarily constructed of brick, indicating it may have been converted from an earlier single-storey rubble structure. The front features three windows, is whitewashed, and slightly cants back to the left. It has a slate roof that rises to the left, following the slope of the hill, and includes a dentil eaves band. The windows are modern 2-light casements with glazing bars that resemble the originals, and there are Tudor stone labels above the ground floor. The entrance is a modern half-glazed door located in the center. The left gable end is made of brick, while the rear is plain and situated at canal level.
