Description

The Canal Museum is a two-storey building with a slate roof and a dentil brick cornice. It features full-height double boarded doors at the center, with a window to the left below a bucket rack. To the left, there is a rubble lean-to that has a boarded door under a cambered arch and a modern window at the left end. On the right, there is a single-storey brick range with a broad camber-headed entry and a modern dormer. A modern ticket office is located at the right end, along with casement windows and modern additions at the rear. Additionally, there is a crane on the wharf quay.
