Description

This is likely a late 17th century barn constructed of rubble and covered with a slate roof. The barn’s central entrance is on its south side, featuring modern stable doors and small ventilation openings. An eastern gable, facing a lane, includes a loading bay with a boarded door and a projecting slate lintel. A further entrance, with a stable door, is found on the downhill gable, which also has a square ventilation light in the gable apex. Internally, the barn has three bays with original tie-beams and purlins, all roughly chamfered.
