Description
The barn at Plas Ucha Farm is a 5-bay gabled structure, likely built in the late 17th century, constructed of rubble and topped with a slate roof. The gable ends feature rubble parapets with plain kneelers. On the left side, there is a wide cart entrance that has been walled up, originally framed by a rough shaped timber lintel. Next to this are three modern 6-pane steel windows, each with exposed timber lintels that correspond to earlier entrances. Additionally, there is a modern steel door and two more windows similar to the previous ones. Under the eaves, there are four square unglazed window openings, with the one on the left fitted with a boarded shutter. The barn also has two exposed ventilation slits. The west gable end includes a loading bay with a boarded door and a modern entrance below it. At the rear, there is a modern lean-to that spans the entire length of the barn.
