Description
This is a pair of 18th century wrought iron gates with stone gate-piers, located opposite the garden entrance on the south elevation of Nerquis Hall. They complete the view from the house. The gates feature subtle scrolled decoration in the central and outer sections. The gate piers have moulded plinths and plain cornices, topped with shaped urn finials. There is stepped access leading down into a field at the rear, which adjoins a ha-ha.
