Description

This listing describes a pair of ashlar gatepiers located to the south of Llanfair, which date from the 19th century. The gatepiers feature ogee caps and finials. Accompanying the gatepiers are two wrought iron gates that include dog-bars, scrolled mid-rails, and top-rails that curve with scrolled spearheads. Additionally, there are urns on the hinge post and scrolled work on the taller inner upright. The front forecourt of the house has matching but eroded ironwork on two sides.
