Description
Dol-grogws is a late-Georgian style farmhouse that stands two stories tall and features three windows. It is constructed of rubble stone and has a slate roof with bracketed eaves and end stone stacks. The openings are offset to the right side and have cambered stone heads. The central boarded door includes a small-pane overlight, while the windows are 12-pane horned sashes. The right gable end has a doorway with a replaced door, and the left gable end also features a replaced door. The rear of the house, which faces a slope, has three windows; the upper storey contains 12-pane sash windows, while the lower storey has similar windows to the right of center and at the right end. The left-hand window in the lower storey has been replaced.
Inside, the narrow stair hall features a mid-19th century straight stair with plain balusters and newels, and the same detail continues to the landing. The kitchen on the left side includes a large fireplace with a chamfered timber lintel, while the parlour on the right side has a small fireplace with a stone segmental head.
