Description
This is a rubble stone lychgate leading to the churchyard of the Church of St Tysul. It was erected to mark the centenary of 'Calanhen', a Sunday school festival revived in 1833. The lychgate has a shouldered gable, with the apex corbelled to create a small lancet window. It is roofed with slate. A 4-centred arch provides the entrance, flanked by wooden gates. Benches are situated within the lychgate.
