Description
Little Hall Farmhouse is a late-Georgian, two-storey farmhouse that is nearly square in shape. It is constructed of hand-moulded brick and features a hipped slate roof that extends over a dentilled eaves band. The roof includes a central valley and a double-hip on the rear elevation, along with three brick chimney stacks.
The front of the house is symmetrical with three bays, featuring a central doorway that has a replacement half-glazed door and an original three-pane overlight, all set beneath a rebuilt brick head. The windows are replacements fitted into original camber-headed openings and consist of two-light small-pane casements. On the right-hand side wall, the left-hand windows are blind, while other windows include replacement two-light and three-light windows in original camber-headed openings.
The left-hand return range has two inserted doors, with the centre-right door possibly being a former window. The lower storey contains two two-light windows in original openings and a three-light window, which may have been inserted, on the left. The upper storey has three two-light windows, all of which are replacements in original camber-headed openings. At the rear, there is an inserted central round-headed doorway, flanked by windows that have been converted from former doorways, with a blocked window situated above the door. The building has not been inspected.
