Description

This is an early 18th century barn constructed from rubble masonry, featuring a slate roof arranged in diminishing courses with a tiled ridge and stone copings. The entrance is located in the east gable, which also has a small opening at the apex. The west gable includes a pitching hole for the loft and has a slate slab at the apex inscribed with: MORGAN PRYS / HYDREF : Y : 31 : / 1728 W H / PEN SAUR. Inside, the barn has a two-bay roof supported by a pegged and chamfered collared truss.
