Description

This is a late 18th century stable constructed of rubble masonry, featuring a slate roof that is laid in diminishing courses, with a tiled ridge and stone copings. The western end of the building is built into the slope, and the northeast corner is rounded to accommodate the road that runs by the eastern gable. There is a single doorway that is offset to the eastern end of the northern lateral wall. An inscribed stone on the eastern gable displays the initials and date: J P 1779. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in July 2002.
