Description
14 Glan Dovey Terrace is a Grade II listed building featuring stucco construction and a slate roof with end chimneys. It stands three storeys tall, plus an attic, with a broad hipped dormer for each house.
On the first and second floors, the outer bays showcase two-storey bow windows. Each bow window has a central six-pane sash flanked by narrow sash windows, all with hornless sash glazing. The left house has three elliptical panels below each window. In the center, the second floor features paired nine-pane hornless sash windows, each topped with a semi-elliptical moulded fan and a quatrefoil in between. The left window retains its flanking colonnettes. The first floor has paired twelve-pane hornless sash windows beneath a semi-elliptical panel, with the left window also retaining flanking colonnettes.
The ground floor includes steps leading up to a recessed porch supported by Doric columns, with paired six-panel entrance doors and a rectangular overlight above. Each end of the building has a later shopfront, likely from the early 20th century, with a door set back between large shop windows.
