Description
Bwlch Gwernog is a single-storey cottage built from whitened rubble. It has a two-unit plan with later additions on both the right and left sides. The cottage features a slate roof with a tiled ridge and is supported by boulder foundations, along with four squat chimneys. The central section has a main entrance with a modern boarded door, flanked by modern windows in small primary openings. On either side of the entrance, there is low buttressing made of rubble, along with slab-benching. The extensions on both sides have end chimneys; the right extension is stepped down and has a corrugated iron roof, featuring a modern boarded door. The left extension includes a further boarded door on the right and a modern window on the left. The front roof pitch has four modern skylights, with two in the primary section and two in the left-hand section. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
