Description

Bryn Tirion is a small two-storey cottage built from local rubble, partly resting on rock foundations. It features a slate roof with rubble gable parapets and end chimneys that have slate cornicing and weathercoursing. The front elevation is symmetrical with two windows and a central entrance that has a modern boarded door, which includes a six-pane glazed upper section. The cottage has small four-pane casement windows that are modern replacements. Above the door, there is a modern slate plaque that reads: 'Bryn Tirion 1841.' To the left of the cottage, there is a high rubble revettment wall that runs alongside the lane for a short distance. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
