Description
Harlech Pottery is a two-storey house and shop that features a three-window main section, with an additional bay attached to the right, separated by a masonry break. The building is constructed of local rubble, which was previously whitened, and includes roughly squared and coursed blocks. It has a continuous modern slate roof with a tiled ridge and slate-slab gable copings. The main section has squat end chimneys.
The entrance, located left of center, is recessed and has a part-glazed door with marginal glazing. To the left of the entrance is a 20th-century canted wooden bay window, featuring a 20-pane front and 10-pane side glazing, topped with a slated roof. To the right of the entrance is a recessed 12-pane window, with three additional similar windows evenly spaced on the first floor. There is also a modern sign board with a scrolled iron bracket. The right side of the main section is bordered by low rubble forecourt walls with chamfered slate copings and simple spear-headed railings. The additional bay on the right has an entrance with a door similar to the main entrance.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
