Description

Maes-glas is a house constructed of rubble stone, partially covered with a pebbledash finish, and topped with a slate roof featuring stone-coped gables. The house comprises two parallel ranges of equal length. The front block has gable stacks and was partly rebuilt in the late 19th century. A central part-glazed door, with a narrow overlight, is set within a glazed timber porch displaying decorative ridge detailing and barge boards. Twelve-paned, small margin glazed sash windows are found on both floors, with an additional window positioned above the door. A lean-to extension is located at the north end of the building.
