Description
The Court House is a small dwelling constructed of rubble, featuring an irregular slate roof supported by tall gable stacks. It has one storey and an attic, with three window bays. The almost symmetrical front, which faces the church, is slightly offset to the left. The entrance consists of a boarded door with a glazed panel, centrally located between tall moulded timber cross windows on the ground floor. The first floor has similar two-light windows set within raised and gabled dormers. All windows are of recent date and have diamond leading. A weather drip course is present on the major uphill stack.
Although not inspected at the time, the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (RCAHMW) notes that the building is said to have early chamfered beams and joists, along with a large fireplace.
