Description
Ffynnon Beuno is a square stone-lined well located at the base of sloping farmland. It is surrounded on three sides by two steps and a continuous stone bench built against the northeast and southwest enclosing stone walls, which are approximately 2 meters high and may have been rebuilt. These walls feature triangular copings. The entrance faces northwest towards the road and is equipped with a 19th-century iron gate, accessed by four steps.
Inside, there are three rectangular recesses in the side walls, likely intended for bathers' clothing and possessions. The well itself measures 2.3 meters square, with water that still flows, reaching a depth of around 350 millimeters. The water overflows through the northwest wall into a gully that leads down to the roadside.
